I took a few pictures on Friday to give you an update. Here are the S30V Skyline blades getting ground. Getting closer...

Appreciate the pictures Jimmer...just a question regarding the second picture, I thought these were going to be FFG? The pic looks like a hollow grind?

The light is deceiving - these are flat ground.

I'm not going to cancel my order if that's how the finished grind looks like, but its definitely not what I thought I was buying.

I too am disappointed. I can't imagine there is another step to the blade grinding process that will make it a true full flat grind.

Maybe it is just me, but it sure seems like I have heard a lot of "bellyaching" and complaining on this thread...
Why can't we just support the forum? I'm not even a big Kershaw fan, but I bought one! Come on, my forum brothers, let's be patient, keep our orders in, and be supportive of the forum! I paid well before many others on here, but I am just patiently awaiting my knife.

Seems like some people are always going to complain about something. Personally, I think they look great. And why don't all you whiners just pipe down. No one's forcing you to buy this knife.

Then cancel your order if you're that unhappy. That'll leave 2 more for some else. Just remember that once they're sold out you'll be paying significantly more if you change your mind.

Of course no one is making me buy the knife. I did, however, pay $196 on knives that are not how they were described

It's certainly different from what was advertised with the "Full Flat Grind" in my opinion, and though I think they are beauties, I understand why some people could be upset. ConservativeKnives was expecting a different blade from the description (as I'm sure many people were), so why can't he express his disappointment and ask a question?
