RonF, I would contact neuron or harkamus. There are 45 knives being made and only 42 seem to be spoken for, I would think they would rather have these knives sold and paid for?? I may be wrong, but I would certainly ask before committing to a stock one.

Nooooo!!!! You're fine on the forum Gunhammer. The new workshop in Texas that DDR/HTM just moved to is still in the process of getting fully up and running, and even when it does, there are other things on the production schedule ahead of the forum Gunhammer. So despite certain people's wishful thinking that the forum knives are down to the final assembly ( ;) ), they haven't been started yet and you can still slip in if you get the deposit down soon. :)

Spot #43 is still open. I can add you there if you want; you'd then need to give HTM a call early next week to tell them what configuration you want, put down the deposit, and so forth.

I haven't talked to Darrel for a week or two since he's been holed up in the official DDR/HTM bunker working on a project with a tight deadline. Whatever the project is should be almost done by now, so I'll bug him tomorrow and see what's going on with these and any other things he has in the works.

I'm guessing he has some neat stuff in the works, since the 2013 SHOT Show is only a couple months away. (As most of you probably know, SHOT in January, along with BLADE in June, is one of the two main events at which knife companies debut new models and take orders from dealers/distributors.)

I was busy most of the day running errands -- had a doctor's appointment for a sinus infection (bleh) and some other stuff. I didn't have a chance to call him, but I did shoot him an email. I'll let you guys know as soon as I hear back.
