Since it's going to be such a limited run, I think it would be great to have serial numbers that are "XX of YY." Not that I'd ever sell mine. But yeah.

Think we're down to 2 spots left...
 
Two questions, will you (all 25) EDC this or baby it?

Next; how hard is it to sharpen the Bowie? On let's say, Edge Pro or Wicked Edge?
 
I'm going to EDC it. No safe queens here. The bowie is just as easy to sharpen as any other normal blade. The radian is slightly more complicated to sharpen, but that's not even an option here.
 
I will put mine in my EDC rotation - This will be my first DDR, so I am excited about the experience.

All of my knives have to be workers at this point in my addiction.

I think it has slowed down enough to cap it at 25. x of 25 just sounds good.

The blade markings we are using do say x of 25.
 
Mine will be an EDC. All my knives are users. And all my folders are edc.

I am still not sure about which blade I want. I keep imagining the torpedo being a better slicer so I may go with that. But, the Bowie looks a bit cooler and both are easily sharpened on my edge pro. Hmm. Choices...
 
I feel like even if we don't hit 25, production on these should still carry on. The 1 or 2 left over could easily be sent to a custom knife dealer and would probably sell in minutes.
 
The thing about where to stop it is, if it gets to 31, then are we stuck waiting for who knows how long to get to 35 but if people beg at 34 and it rolls over say to only 36, we are stuck again.
If it is an option I really like the x of xx serial number.

Sign me up for one, bowie blade, maxglide. What's the expected wait time? Just so I know how much I need to save up....

Good choice. I doubt you'll regret this purchase. I'm almost tempted to say that if you do, I'll buy it off of you. Then I can have one to use, and one for a safe queen.
 
If she likes knives, she'll understand when she sees it. My wife was mad at me when I bought my second Gun Hammer, until she realized that I wasn't using my first one any more. Then that went into her purse, and the kitchen (when I let her cook). Although she still likes her Spyderco Tenacious too, which was the first knife I bought her. If she doesn't like knives, well, you've got your work cut out for you.
 
I am not very particular about where we end the numbers. I know some want 25 exactly, but for me if we end up on a strange number like 31 I am cool with it.

I would rather see a few more people get a knife if they want one then have a typical number like 25 or 30. This knife is arguably the best HTM Gunhammer to date and that is rare enough for me. But if we end up at 25 or whatever that's fine also but as long as people have the chance to get one that's all I care about.
 
Depending on how this goes, there may be more possible sprint runs. I would want them all to be made with the forum's input, so they can be sort of like the "people's" knife.
