Thanks for posting a photo PG5768, it looks beautiful! Can't wait for mine to show up.

Could some of you please post some more shots of it closed, fully open with each blade while the other is closed, etc... Anything to make the wait more bearable would be a pleasure!

This may well be just about the perfect EDC slip joint for me. If it is not big enough, it will get parked on the shelf to fondle occasionally rather than use. I generally prefer something in the full sized Trapper size for pocket carry. We'll see.

I'll try to get some pics with my '09, '10 and '11 knives for a size comparison. This is bigger than the '09 Barlow and '11 EO Jack. Not as big as the '10 Moose.

October 2012 has been a good pocket knife month for me, picked up some beauties with the best at the end of the month. Lanny's Clip came late last week, looks like the BF Traditional will be this week

Bigger than the '11 EO you say?... COOL! I'm happy about that because I thought it might be a bit smaller than the '11 EO. I have larger hands so I'm kinda' glad it's bigger.

My crystal ball tells me that if this design works, GEC may well make a good run of them with different scales. Yes, I am thinking this knife is that good.

Sorry for the pic quality, but here are 2 with the 2012 and 2011 knives for comparison.

I really like the EO and bottle opener/screw-driver on the 2011, but the F&F and overall feel of the 2012 Trapper seem better.

I really like the look of both the 2011 and 2012 traditional forum knives, but I think I might be leaning more towards the size of the 2011 model. It's good to hear that you think the fit and finish on the 2012 model is so good!

Some people don't want their BFC name, their transaction number, and their tracking number to be cross-referenced publicly. I understand that position entirely.

Same here... thanks for the comparison shot PG. I'm going to like the larger size. I also love my '11, but it's a little more "delicate" in my mitts so the '12 will work great!
