2012 Traditional Forum knives HAVE ARRIVED

Mine arrived today, :eek: my first GEC, it is a good day :D

Here's mine - arrived yesterday. I measure it 3 7/8" closed. Clip blade has a pull of 6 1/2 on a scale of 1 to 10 while the Wharncliffe blade has a pull of 5 on the same scale. Overall a nice, tight, knife. The covers could be a bit darker but that's just my .02¢ .

Haven't got mine yet. I love everything about them (via your pictures) but the jigging. It is way too symmetrical. Maybe it looks better in person.
 
I got mine! I won't add any pics. Mine looks like the one above. ;)

First impressions, this knife is pretty much flawless. Good medium pull on both blades. The wharncliffe is a thing of beauty. F&F appear to be perfect. Springs are a little proud at half stop, no big deal. I know some people have lamented the jigging and dye, but I actually think the scales are really unique and beautiful. It is heavy. That's the only negative. And with all that beautiful steel, it's kind of got to be heavy.

Thanks again to everyone who made this happen. Beautiful knife. The EO Jack was more my style, but I only have a few trappers, and this is by FAR the nicest. My 4yo: "I love it. It's beautiful." My girl doesn't lie. Oh, and mine was really sharp. YMMV.
 
Mine arrived today, and in perfect condition. Fit and finish are outstanding. Anything else I can say about it will sound cliche. Thanks spark, GEC and the crew who put this together! The knife and the entire process has been great. Pics when the weather shapes up. Hope everyone else is as satisfied as I am.
 
My two knives arrived this afternoon.

I'm sure that the others who placed the order and are waiting for their knife to arrive will not be disappointed.
 
My 2012 knife arrived today----must say I am very a very happy camper. About a 5 pull on both blades, centered, great fit and finish. Good color in handles.
Thanks so much to all involved in making this happen. Can hardly wait untill next year's knife comes up.

Received mine just now! Thanks to everyone involved, it was really fun to be a part of the whole process! I really like the knife, GEC knocked this one out of the park!

Just got mine today and WOW!! What a great knife! Perfect in the F&F department and overall just a real beauty. I usually don't carry traditionals this big, but this one will definitely get alot of pocket time. Thanks to Spark and GEC for making this one happen. I couldn't be happier. :thumbup:
