These are voting threads. Vote. You can comment on why you voted. Do not complain about the polls. Do not complain about the choices. Remember, next year YOU may be the unlucky soul running the polls.

Honestly, I think the guys doing the polls are doing a great job. I really don't see anything to complain about as far as how the polls are handled. They are herding us cats into the direction that most of us are wanting to go. We may not get everything we want, but that's because we are deciding as a group.

Well said, I for one certainly appreciate the time and effort all involved are putting into this.

I voted carbon steel to keep the price down, but I wouldn't mind seeing 440C as well. I strongly dislike D2.

I don't see carbon being such a good match with ivory micarta grips.

440c brushed makes much more sense with synthetic material to my eye.

I voted stainless, but carbon is fine too. But I would like to see a different steel than last year. O1 would be nice!
Thanks to the members who are putting this together!

I agree

I voted for carbon, but will buy a knife no matter what. I always do.

Thanks for voting, everyone! We're going to close this round of polls. Once we get our poop in a group, we'll let you know what our next steps are.
