Sweet! I did buy it to use, so I'll enjoy seeing it age. But it's so shiny new, it may take a little while til I can let it get dirty.
 
I'll be checking the mailbox until this one arrives, thankfully another package with a red bone Diamond Jack arrived to tide me over :D
 
Mine was in the P.O. box when I checked on the way to work last night. Better than I expected. It's going to be my day off knife, I just can't take this one to work yet. My thanks to everyone who worked on this.
 
still waiting -- dye job is tempting, maybe some saddle tan leather dye.
 
I'm not too sure if smooth micarta will accept dye? Could be wrong though....

Looking forward to getting mine (pristine:D)
 
Yeah I'm a little disappointed in that there are some on the exchange and I don't have my own yet! Hopefully in the early part of this week.
 
on the plus side - neither of the 2 i saw was price gouging and one of them at least gave a good reason for selling so quickly.
 
Not yet . I usually start to twitch when the time is getting close.Then just when I think I should contact Spark or Charlie or my other suppliers to see if they posted it it turns up:thumbup:
I think I'm probably among the furthest away.Even further than the Kiwis (and they are pretty far out).
 
It won't be far away John- Its a massive job to distribute all these knives in one go.
We must remember that Patience is a virt aaaahhhhrrrrggggwhomikiddingiwantminenoooooooowww!!!!
 
Oh I'm sure it will arrive. I can't see sending out 150 or so knives in one day with all of the other work that Spark and his staff would normally have to do, especially since it was a holiday week.

I was just letting you know in case you felt left out being on the other side of the planet, that it's not just you :)

That may well be guys that don't have them in hand yet but based on the fact that Spark is now sending them out, they have their ordered knives up for sale. This is one of the things that killed our "Traditional Trade Forum" - people offering to trade knives that they didn't have in hand yet.

EDIT: If you run the tracking number from the lable in the picture it looks like the seller had it in hand when he posted it.

Got mine today! First impression: elegant yet solid, excellent fit and finish! Thank you to all involved for persevering and putting out such a quality product - Spark, Bill and GEC, and all the BF faithful.
