2013 Shot Show BM Griptillian

#51 Checking in. This is my first griptilian, I find it a little hard to use the axis lock for a combination of reasons (my hands are a bit small for the knife, and I my hand likes to slide down the grips), but besides that it is a wonderful knife.

Edit: However I'm getting better with it the more I play with it.

I saw these on the site where I generally buy my knives (unless I find a better deal elsewhere) and I'm pretty sure they're a paid dealer here.
 
They are currently out of stock, but it was a place that had the knife and their website really works. I know I am treading on thin ice....

Lucky #77 checking in.

I'm a huge BM fan but have disliked grips because of their plastic-like handles. Not any more. The G-10 handle feels great, outstanding factory edge, and it looks AMAZING. Best grip variant for the price yet, imo.

Ahhh...OK...but there is a pre-order and they're likely to get more and the discount will re-appear. I am trying to get you into this knife, amigo. ;) :D I have one and it is hands-down the best Grip ever shipped from Benchmade. :thumbup: Myself, I want another...
 
I just ordered a combo edge, wish they had more of the plain edge available. Was tempted to order the Knifeworks Grip but figured I should wait. If nothing else I need to get some sharpening stones.

But man I really want a plain edge Grip now.
 
Just got my combo edge. Love it so far. I like it more than my Bone Collector folder (maybe because it is new more than anything). Thinner blade, shape of the blade, smaller but fits my hand very well, more pocket friendly. I have had it ten minutes so I can't compare the D2 vs CPM-M4.

Really wish I could have bought the non combo edge, but now I might just get a Grip with a higher end blade and then get custom scales. I can't remember if the blade shape is different than a normal Grip. I normally like the hole more than the stud, but I like the shape of the blade enough that I might switch my opinion on this with the Griptillian.

Anyway, great knife love it

Just picked up a couple of these this week. Best grip ever...only way it could get better is if it was a mini with the same exact specs :)
