Bravo Jack.
You must have the patience of a tree.
In a similar situation I would have had shall we say less aplomb?

"JUST GO GET THE *^%$en BOSS, MATE"

Thanks my friend, it was a very trying situation to say the least!

That's another beauty you have there

Jack, sorry to hear of the issues getting yours, glad to know it's been received. It's a beauty.

Thanks Chris, great to see your pics

Phew! Glad it is finally there Jack! I was starting to worry.

Thanks Charlie, me too - I was losing sleep over it, and I don't sleep well anyway!

Hope the rest of you folks get your knives very soon

I have to bring the knives to Canada a few at a time under my daily allowance. It takes a lot of trips at 1 1/2 hours each, but at least there is no duty!

I knew I recognised those legs! :D

I'm glad you got yours Jack, I know we've had some nightmares with deliveries over the years, not just overseas we had some issues domestically.

This year's knife, at least from my end, was the easiest forum knife to date and considering I had some serious doubts in the beginning that we'd even have a knife this year, Charlie and crew made it look effortless.

Any idea how many have yet to reach their homes?

I'm still waiting for mine to arrive over here in Australia. Meako has gotten his, so hopefully it won't be too long.

Don't sweat it Ryan- mystic meako says Monday....or maybe Wednesday .
Actually I'm very very pleasantly surprised at how quick mine was. I was tipping mid Movember.

Mine arrived in country on 23rd,i got notice from customs three days ago....
From previous experience,it takes 7 days for package from US to arrive in Croatia(8000km) and 14 days from customs office to my home :grumpy:

First layer of dye applied to my BF stag. Next layer will darken it to a deeper red color.

Whoa, that really catches the eye! Nice work. I've never thought about red dyed stag, but that's really neat. Keep us posted!

Fine barky example you show there steel, you must be pleased with that one!

Thanks, Will

That's a little beauty Steel.

Markesharp- I'm thinking you must have disliked the colour of the stag immensely to want to dye it.
Can I ask why? but I must reserve judgement till it finished.

Good to see you got yours Jack. I was just thinking its pretty amazing the level of variation thats happenign on this 77 pattern. From the BF Knife to the Washington Jack to the Marlow to the Yankee Jack... each knife is really unique while sharing the very accommodating sleeveboard frame. I get why the 15 frame sees so much variation now.
