Thanks Barry. I do not envy your job of packaging up a knife, 300+ times. My order went in very close to the end. I don't mind if my knife does not come until 2016. Best you pace yourself, not exhaust yourself.

Before I start packaging, here is a little preview:





The photos don't do the bocote covers justice! The knives are all unique with a wide array of grain and color, and they have great F&F and W&T. They'll begin shipping on Monday.:D:D:D:D

Very nice indeed! I don't recall whether they have half-stops or not.

Thanks, Barry, for all your work. I also do not even your job to ship more than 300 knives. :eek: So take your time. We all have other knives to keep us happy until this beauty arrives.

It's the opposite. As many individual knives are pre-sold as possible to meet minimum production requirements for the overall order. Each year it feels like a stretch just to meet that pre-order minimum. Then, when the knives go into production and pics start to appear, demand for them increases but the order is already put to bed.
 
Barry, the photos and knives look terrific, thanks for posting! This is a great design, and a fitting swan song for CSC. I wish them all well and hope that something good can emerge to continue the legacy of what was part of the Schrade Walden factory.

I'm especially excited that the shield was made from leftover Schrade tooling (is purser the right term?), and know Eric and CSC well enough to know that the fit and attention to details will be as good as the knife looks!
 
Those look really nice. Thanks for the photos and good luck with shipping 100 little packages. The good thing is you can not mix up the addresses :D
