it's the same thickness and 1/2" longer than the medium stockman I got from glennbad last year, no blade rub or spring contact I can see from a cursory look and both blades will remove hair, so in the pocket it goes once it's been stropped.

Thanks for the mention on Charlie's note.

I'm a bit ashamed to have looked for it and, obviously, not found it...pfft come on Joe! *facepalm*

Are there any hints when the second batch could be coming? That photo thread is really motivating :)

The second batch was supposed to be delivered this past Friday. I was waiting to see when they were being shipped to the buyers.

I am furiously packing the second batch as we speak, and I hope to get them to the PO this afternoon.

They are worth the wait! ;)

Looks like all but a few of the first batch of knives have been delivered! Today I'm working on packing up the Int'l orders and then on to the domestic buyers list again, where I'll have about 60 knives. All will go out by tomorrow and remember: YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL when your order ships.

Thanks everybody! I know the wait for these has been extra long, but there will never be another knife like it!

I appreciate you braving the lines at the PO at this time of year, they are almost as bad as going to the mall (shiver, cringe). Thanks for the hard work to all involved!

Thanks Barry, I'll be patient, but the anticipation is killing me. ;)

Sorry guys, but while I'd hoped to get the second batch by Friday, I didn't get it until late yesterday afternoon. Then I had to check each knife briefly and start getting the packaging ready for Int'l shipping, as it requires a box to ship internationally now, and so takes more time to package.

Having looked at them all, though, I can tell you that they are beautiful!

No problem Barry. We're grateful for all you're doing to get these out to us.
Thanks ... BTW "Has mine been shipped yet.":D:)

Relax and take your time. I was mostly just curious if the second batch were delivered.

Yes! That means we're that much closer to the third batch. I knew I shouldn't have waited so long to order, but then again I'm really enjoying the anticipation which grows a little more with every new picture posted.

Thanks - that sounds really cool, I will be 'patiently' waiting for that email :)

since so many don't have their shipping notices yet, would it be considered bad form to mention how easily this thing disappears in a pocket or how nice it cuts things?

I haven't cut anything, but they are a nice slim knife and fairly light, which should make them carry very well in the pocket.

My two favorite blades and in 440C, limited production and every knife different, what's not to like?

I think we all appreciate your work, it isn't a small thing to look over and ship 300+ knives.

I am looking forward to carving up an apple with this baby - truly a great knife all around and very unique - My wife even commented on how special this particular knife is...

best

I appreciate all the hard work you are doing Barry! I will continue to wait patiently. As compensation for my recently emailed message of impatience (sorry about that; just didn't want to miss out due to some technical glitch), I have happily ordered one of your forthcoming snakewood 25 SFO's.
Again, many thanks for your efforts on behalf of this knife loving community!
Brian
