Mine has departed LA and so should be on its way to Germany. Hopefully German customs will not be admiring it for too long before forwarding it to me :)
 
Well, the knife has arrived! BUT..... I can't open it!

It was supposed to be an October birthday present. But with the delays, my wife made alternative bday plans and now made the knife my Christmas present.

Tick tock. Only 20 more days till I get to open it.

She'll probably wrap it and put it under the tree early. You know, for me to stare at for the next ttttwwwwweeeeeeeeennnnnnnnntttttttttttttttyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy days.

She's so mean.

Wild grain? Plain Jane grain? Light? Dark? The suspense!!!

I think you are going to have to get sneaky, open the package with your sharpest knife and replace your new knife with pellets for weight. Pocket your knife for 19 days and then put it back :-)

And good thing it is stainless. Now you won't have to try and explain why your supposed brand new knife is covered in patina. :eek: :confused:
