Got the shipping notice, hope it's ok and without nicks or a heavy recurve. Here's to hope. :)

Mine arrived last night. It's my first Bladeforums annual folding knife and I am extremely pleased. I still can't believe we all got involved and were able to vote on a design. Thank you to everyone involved--ya did good!

Mine arrived last night as well. A few passes over the sharpener and right into my pocket it went.

Love it, love it, love it. I think I've been participating in forum knives since 2010 and this may be my favorite one so far. Thanks again to everyone involved in making this happen!

Got my shipping notice, as well. Unfortunately, if my wife is home when it drops, it will be wrapped and under the tree before I get a chance to see it. I'm not allowed to make purchases for myself once December starts because I'm 'difficult' to shop for. The fact that the actually purchase was made back in July is of no matter. <sigh>

Mine shipped last week and seems to be going the wrong way? Left Kent Washington and went south to Los Angeles, instead of north to Canada. Cleared the sort facility in Los Angeles on Dec 6 and no further info since then. Not worried though, I am sure they will make their way to me sooner or later, Christmas mail rush and all.

MrBitters, hope you can get to the mail first so you can at least get a peak at it before it gets wrapped.

Guys, I just got back from the PO and dropped off another 75 packages, so those of you that were in line should get an email with a tracking no.

The next and final shipment is due to arrive here on Friday, along with a boatload of 25 Watchpocket Barlows, so my weekend will be pretty full packing all these knives for shipping. If, BY NEXT WEEK, you do NOT receive a shipping email w/tracking, email or PM me so I can figure out where things went wrong; I know it's hard to believe, but i doo make mistayks. :confused:

OK? Great!!! :D:D:D:D;)

Received my 2 today, just got them open. All I can say is woohoo! and Thanks!! They are very nice indeed, excellent examples of a pattern that is a first for me:) Good action and nicely finished. A HUGE thanks to everyone on the forum for making this happen.

And all the best to the associates and families of CSC, I'll be proud to carry your work.

-Casey

Thanks for the update. Saves time when you do the updating.

I have received mine, but won't open the package until next week. It ended up being a birthday present. (I couldn't think of anything nicer to receive for my birthday, so this is going to be it.)

Dang, that is some serious self control. You're a better man than me! haha

I just received mine in Japan. It looks a beauty. Thanks to everyone involved this year.

Patient like you, I am anticipating the arrival of these historical CSC jacks as though they are migrating birds who will be home by Christmas ... Kingston, Kent, Los Angeles, Louisville, Philadelphia and still winging it ...

Honestly, I would wish they weren't of such historical importance for the sake of the owners, workers and families. My best hope for the future to these dedicated people and my sincere thanks for the knives that I will soon have in hand.

Both the BF volunteer commitment and the extraordinary CSC commitment - is beyond stellar. I have captured every image here of the making of this precious knife, blood included, so its story is part of what I will continue to treasure.

Postal Customs in Canada has only 2 sort stations: western half of the country goes through Vancouver and eastern half through Toronto. Some parcels get through Postal Customs in 1-2 days but others can sit there for up to 2 weeks. There is no number to call or email address to contact Postal Customs to try to find out about a 'lost' package. Once a parcel enters Canada Postal Customs, nothing can be done but wait. Most show up eventually. A few are never heard from again.

Bitters,

I'm in the same boat.

It's just sitting there in the wife's closet. All Lonely.
