Mine arrived this afternoon. Thankyou all involved in the project. The knife is impressive, nice on pictures but has so much more in real. Hats off! :)

A little skepticism in the interest of optimism here ... Never, on any occasion in my almost 70 years, have I ever, on even one occasion, encountered a problem with mail to or from the US. Period. Never. Zero.

I do not expect any problem. I sleep well and look forward to my prized knives arriving as the wind brings them. Period. I know they are beautiful and will feel great in hand. No question.

Taldesta, at least it seems that you have some tracking info beyond Los Angeles. My tracking info has not been updated since Dec 6. Stilll not worried, I have never had one lost. Joe, I believe that when a knife comes to me through Vancouver, it is held up for awhile and I usually end up paying duty. When the come through Toronto I don't believe they are held up at all and duty is never charged. Hopefully mine went the same way as Taldesta's, through Louisville and Philadelphia.

Just got my shipping notification! :D

I think I was among the last few to order. Barry, does this mean that you've received the final 50-some knives and this is the last batch to ship out?
 
So far i have not received an email notice regarding my forum knife being shipped. Are these sent out the same day that knife is shipped ?

The USPS tracking just turned to "DELIVERED" - how am I supposed to work until evening today :o

But post box was empty (no knife, no notification note) ... hmm ... I guess I have some more waiting ahead of me.
 
I got mine today. They look fantastic too. A huge "Thank You" to anyone who had anything to do with making this happen.:thumbup:

I only have one problem. I ordered 5... but I only was sent 4.
I have sent an email to the 'gunstockjack email addy' that was referenced on the invoice.
No real problem, stuff happens; just wanted to mention it for the record.
Looking forward to receiving the other one. :)

Indeed - I am guessing that the "delivered" message could have been premature or some sort of misunderstanding. The knife may as well be with local customs (it already passed the import office in Frankfurt). One way or another it should show up soon (unless it got lost in some strange manner what would be first around here)
