By the way, what is the pattern name of our 2015 CSC pocketknife? OH

I would call it a Double End Birds-Eye Serpentine Jack. But knife nomenclature escapes me.....

I can tell you this: we are firm on the number 300, so if you snooze.... well, you know. :):eek::mad::grumpy:

Thank you to all who made this possible and made it happen!
Just got mine ordered.....

Nice Barry,

Any chance of getting that comparison photo of how the blade finish is on these?

and if someone from CS can chime in on what hardness they expect to have on these blades, that would be nice too :)

The Rockwell hardness of the 440C blades is specified at 58-59, Gary.
We are limited to 300 knives.

Thanks Charlie! and I have to imagine we're getting pretty close to that total soon! Good job sir!

I assume the finish is like on the prototype - the uniform satin finish, rather than half polish/half satin, it just has a different name.

Thanks, sounds like a pretty durable kind of finish right there!

And, you know what would go great with this thread? besides a cup of coffee...some WIP photos :)

anyone else love to see this year's knife as it goes through the steps of being made? barring any company trade secrets of course, but the knife as it goes through the various stages of becoming a 'knife' :)
