Good points, both, Cory and Ted. I was a "new guy" here once, too, and had to learn the process so-to-speak. I do remember somewhat contentious arguments for both the 2012 and 2013 knives. The process used last year worked very well to produce a final product and was a resounding success. It would do well to try to replicate that process as much as possible in the interest time and harmony. Of course, there will always be people who are disappointed with the process or final product decided upon, but that can't eliminated, only minimized. As individuals, we have the power the decide whether or not we choose to buy what is offered. The trick, of course, is trying to reach a general consensus that appeals to a broad base. At this stage, I see no problem with just tossing out some ideas and see if there is any kind of consensus. FWIW, I'd like to see GEC patterns 47, 15, or 92.
