2015 Forum Knife - It's Never Too Early To Think About the Next Blade Forum Knife

If we are going to do a punch, I would LOVE to have one like this. Thanks to Duncan for the pic.

Punch-nut!

Although ideally it would be a shape other than a nut- I love that the Punch-nut term I coined is catching on- and the idea even more so!! It's a great concept, and I would love to find more small knives with punches, so I'm really hoping that a company will help out! Forget the other ideas!

PunchNut!!!
PunchNut!!
PunchNut!

Or Eureka Whittler w. Punch, but I haven't figured a name for it yet!!

I think a GEC 15 or 77 frame with an EO sheepfoot blade and a screwdriver/caplifter (Sheepdriver? Sheeplifter?), in other words an EO sheepfoot-caplifter. Probably ought to just call it: a Beer Scout. That's it. Beer Scout!

Gunstock hasn´t been before. It would make a nice addition to the almost chosen patterns :)

It would be good, if choose a pattern that almost is in their production line to keep the prize lower - instead of new tooling and making a new pattern.

So the gunstock and also the #15 or #77 almost exist. But we had the #77 just last year AND the #15 is just a smaller frame of the #77 ...

For the punch-nut: There is the dogleg jack pattern by GEC - why not add an awl as a secondary blade and call it a dog-punch?!

Just my thoughts...

You could add a punch to the 22, and call it a Gun-nut ;)

Indeed - Jack ... that could work... :D

A Gun-nut in my pocket - sounds weird, doesn´t it?!

LOL! :D You get a Gunstock frame, a Peanut Size, a punch, and a corny pun! It could please a lot of people :D

Ok... Then we would have a Gun-Punch-Nut or a Punch-Nut-Gun, or...?!?! :p

But honestly I like the idea of a Gunstock, small sized with a punch secondary ...

Let´s see what the majority is thinking.

I like the gunstock frame with a punch idea. No clue why people keep wanting knives that have already been done before! Quit with the caplifter idea. It's been done before. If you want a caplifter knife, they seem to hit the exchange weekly.

And I'd be good with the dogleg frame like I stated on the previous page like the 57 wrangler. Main blade and punch at the same end, no spey blade. With the harness punch posted above...they already did the 85 frame but I'd love to use that punch design!! They also just did the 77 frame so going with a 15 frame is just downsizing it.

+1  to adding a punch to a smaller existing frame idea. We haven't had a punch, and it's been a while since we've had a peanut size knife.

If we haven't had any acrylic covers, this might be the one to do it on. Maybe tortoise shell?

'Ere that sounds amaizeing...no yer right its just corny.

:D

+1 go big

How did I get sucked into this Gunch-nut thing?! :D

I've already stated I'd like to see a gunstock pattern, so if folks like the gun-punch, that works for me as well.

Would still like to see something done on the 92 frame Eureka. An extremely comfortable pattern in my opinion.
