2015 Forum Knife - It's Never Too Early To Think About the Next Blade Forum Knife

This so far is the only contender offered up thus far, and that is why I keep bringing it to the last page for all to see. This way when another is proposed, we have this one to compare it with.
IMO, this is a BEAUTIFUL knife. Just look at that single back spring.
True to form, Canal street has offered an actual prototype!

Here it is!

A little different, and pretty nice!!
I believe they will offer stainless or carbon, and I don't know the wood yet.

It's been quite awhile since I've visited, I figured I was going to let this thread progress without my campaigning for what I want. The last 3 forum knives were basically what I wanted anyway :) . I love how this year had evolved, Charlie as always you never fail to deliver, thanks.

So what are the knives in the possible running, CSC, Case are those our two possible manufacturers? Well I'm in no matter what and being I've been on this roller coaster ride many times before, I'll just sit back and enjoy the ride...
;)

I'd prefer that CS with a Wharnecliffe secondary (might not work for the nick)...but I love how thin it is even with a beefy single spring.

That CS and single springs are growing on me. Still in for a cap lifter too though.

Hey Folks, got a little update for you;

I've done another sample with the sheepfoot lowered as requested (the nail mark would be on the pile side on the forum knife of course), and a pinned shield. This isn't necessarily the shield that would be used but it's all I had. Blades are satin finished on this one as well:

Wow that's a beauty. And I'm not a fan of shadow patterns. But wow.

Competition (if there is any) is really gonna have to step it up to beat CSC knife.

Just their interaction on here is making me want to buy one of there knives. It's a shame I don't own one yet. Well done CSC!

Jim

Can we just have 3-4 forum knives this year if they all come out that nice? I'd probably buy all of them I'm afraid

Oh that is NICE. I love that lowered secondary blade and a pinned shield is always my preference. What a great looking knife.

Hey Eric, it just dawned on me where you work, I think.

While I'm still pulling for a PunchNut/Magnum Punch, or eureka punch Whittler, that CSC offering is looking better all of the time! Thanks for everything Eric, it is very appreciated.

Yep, I sure do ballenxj. Thanks guys, this kind of stuff is one of the most satisfying aspects of the job. :-)

Love it Eric!!!! Satin finished & lowered blade with a fancier shield sure did change the looks of an already great looking knife! Thank you for all you've done!!
