It seems to be the top runner right now. It also seems to be the only submission right now.Have we decided on this type of pattern?
Hey Folks, got a little update for you;
I've done another sample with the sheepfoot lowered as requested (the nail mark would be on the pile side on the forum knife of course), and a pinned shield. This isn't necessarily the shield that would be used but it's all I had. Blades are satin finished on this one as well:

I do agree with Mike.
And I'm not a fan of single spring knives, not even far...but this is really beautiful.
I would prefer micarta to wood on a shadow pattern, my gut tells me it will wear better.

Want. Want BAD!
Appaloosa bone would be super, but what company has made it recently? I mean, who has offered a really great, classic Appaloosa bone lately?
I'm still thinking the other requirement should be affordability. At just over 70 bucks, this year's knife was a steal. Maybe the next one could likewise be kept under $100... Single blade is another preference of mine, which would keep the price low.
Oh, now you've just gone and polluted the water. That Case Barlow is "very" nice!I agree very nice stuff Appaloosa bone, some one may be able to date this one from the poor photos from listing.
Looking good, and thank you for the work involved in this project. (I must have missed the measurements??).![]()
