2015, the snarkiest year yet!

Well, whatever you do, don't get drunk and tell everybody about the T.M.Hunt self guided missiles coming out for purchase to the public in the spring!

Controlled goods paperwork to ship out of the country? I'll take one :D

In on three where the cool kids be.

imagine how quickly a flat-blade screwdriver would poke through your pocket if inserted tip-first... ooh, and into your leg! Or as a neck knife... eep! I'm worried more about the carrying than the using.

Relax, it's not nearly as scary as you might think. I've carried various pointy objects on my key-ring for years and years without a problem. Unless they're just way too big, they have a remarkable tendency to lay flat and not bother you at all. (Obviously, a full-size #9 would present some problems ;) ). I ruined a lot of jeans pockets carrying an unsheathed 110 under my wallet, though.

Having said that, Z's idea about surgical tubing makes good sense, just in case.

I think the keychain-sized ones might work just fine with that mod, but the full-size is big for a keychain and rides better alone. I'll test the surgical idea on the one in my pocket to see if it interferes with the biru function or not.

Yeah, anything bigger than about 3-4" isn't going to ride very well in a front pants pocket anyway, whether it's pointy or not. There's a reason you don't see many traditional pocketknives any bigger than that... y'know, the whole "does it fit in your pocket" thing :D

I knew that was gonna come back and haunt me, as soon as I posted it. I'm a little surprised y'all didn't pounce on the "full size #9" thang.

snark

Every great comedy team needs a straight man, to pitch softballs right over the plate for the smart-alecs to swing at ;)

You'd be surprised what will fit in a front jeans pocket if you would quit wearing girly jeansImageUploadedByTapatalk1420320993.997551.jpg

"Full-sized 9" is redundant. That's cause all 9s are full-sized. If it is not full-sized, then it's a 10. :D

Left Ethan's this morning - had a brilliant time. The man is an incredible host. So much so that I suspect Oz would have been content to stay. Now in Lexington visiting friends. The rain seems to have followed me up here...

I carry my full-size birudashii (plural!) with a lanyard from my belt loop to the sheath, dropped into a cargo or carpenter's pocket. When I wear 'normal' jeans, I carry something else. (or one less knife...)
