2016 forum knife ordering thread - SOLD OUT

Thanks for your encouragement Rick! My knife arrived today and it's absolute perfection. The side benefit to having to return it to GEC is that I got the thrill of opening the package a second time. Now if I can just avoid a serious puncture wound...

GEC did not notify me that my knife shipped. USPS notified me of a package from Titusville and nobody in my household bought anything from there so it has to be my knife.

That doesn't necessarily mean yours shipped too of course, but at least we know they are working on the returned knives.

For the record, I shaved an onion-skin piece of skin off my thumb, and I have poked myself with the punch twice, only once drawing blood!
 
Well Charlie, you did say your kids thought your thumb should be declared a weapon. ;) :D

I am guilty of having far to large a pool of users and I'd have to say it would be extremely difficult for me to not carry this beauty. The only other traditional I have with a punch is my #98 and while I enjoy that knife very much I'm interested to try a smaller/slimmer knife sporting a punch. I will say my only caveat to previously only having users is I have actually started collecting some knives that I do not intend to use but enjoy simply handling and appreciating their beauty or limited production. I guess this means I've officially been turned haha :D

I would love to but I do all(most)of my online purchases with a CC. Gunstock Jake's doesn't accept CC purchases. : ( I'll have to wait 'till payday and see if I can PayPal it. I hate PayPal, it's a PITA sometimes!
