Fighting the temptation here to get my first BF knife and this one looks so good it's not helping .

Never had any of the above which makes it that much more enticing [emoji51]Don't wait too long! Trust me, I've regretted waiting on a GEC. This forum knife is really nice too. It's the first worm groove GEC has done, the spear blade is a classic and the punch is a very useful tool. If you haven't tried a punch blade yet, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
I can see it sitting under my Christmas Tree now with a note saying there's some blankets on the couch for me 😂Do it now!
Thanks it looked like it might of been able to . I've always preferred blades that could but as long as there not nail breakers I'm good .I can't.
but it's got a soft enough spring, it's opens pretty easy.

Thanks for the input . Santa has struck and might have to take my chances right after Christmas and see if there's any left and if not it wasn't meant to be .They are definitely not nail breakers. The main blade is about a "4" and the punch is about a "5". I have pretty weak nails and so I'm pretty sensitive to how easy a blade is to open. The BF knife is easy.
Actually, mine is pretty pinchable. [emoji106]

I spoiled myself plenty this year and it's time to give back 😊

I wasn't exceedingly excited about this pattern but having carried my ebony HJ quiet regularly over the past several weeks, it has quickly become one of my favorites. The punch is very utilitarian and I love a good spear blade. The tool combination is remarkably thin and my example also has nice pulls. A 5 on the main and a 5-6 on the punch. Give it a go if you can. I don't believe that you'll regret it. [emoji106]
Oh I definitely want oneJust got mine. Pull is about as described above. Super easy pull. No issues with mine. Caught me off guard not having a half stop. I'm so used to them it felt weird opening!
Great covers. Can't wait for some light to snap some photos.
For me I'll just have to make sure to retrain my muscle memories and not forget it's not a half stop . I'm getting low on bandaids lol.Yeah, me too. All things being equal, half stop all the way. But if it's not a choice it really doesn't matter to me.
