2017 Spyderco Product Guide is now LIVE!

With all the hate filled threads about tip-up tip-down carry, I'm very disappointed the Chinook 4 is tip-up only. As argued adnausium all the clip holes are to give buyers the choice. Unbelievable!

Yes how dare they! The nerve on those people!!!!!!!

Left handed PM2, I thought the compression lock already works well for lefties. I would love to see some left handed frame locks, a lefty slysz bowie would be sweet!

I have my eye on the Rhino and the Lil'Temp. I know they announced it was VG10 for the LT3 when it was first introduced but I hope the description of the blade being S30V is not a typo in the catalogue.

Does anyone see the similarities between the Native and the Efficient? Different lock type and it's slightly larger but I see the similar vibe.

Left handed Paramilitary 2!
I have my wallet in my left hand, what direction do I need to throw it? I need a bakers dozen... I still have one of three left handed military's left. (Should add another)
I lose things....

To me, it looked like a Native 5 blade with a ouroboros handle, at least similar enough on both aspects. I was interested in the knife until I saw the 4.1 oz weight. If there was an American verison that was an ounce less, and a slightly better steel such as BD-1, for say $60, I'd be all over it.

Ooo, Hap40 Meerkat sprint! Very excited about that one, too. Also kinda intrigued by the Q-Ball.

The Spyderco catalog does not disappoint. It's beautifully done and I see far too many new models that I want. :D:thumbup:

The shape kinda reminds me of a non-flipper Domino or Dice.

Ahh, ok, yeah. It's more Ouroboros than Domino/Dice.

OMG PARA 3!!! Screw that! Serrated Para 2! Annnd Police 4. Yep a few hundred $'s already spent.

The ATR is probably the only blade I'll actually be purchasing, but I echo what others have said: This is the best product guide I've ever seen. Not so much because I'm loving everything being released, but because time and time and time again Spyderco delivers what "the people" want... and then some!!!  :D

Ok maybe Sal can answer this, the Lil Nilakka in its specs says S30v but in the product description says RWL34 which one is it?

Am I the only one who noticed that on the first page of the flippers section, it states "...it(flippers) has become increasingly popular and inspired a number of new and innovative flipper-style knives, including the world's first back lock and Compression Lock flippers". I know the introvert is a back lock flipper, but I didn't see the compression lock knife listed anywhere and I don't think it was a previous model. Am I missing something?

Preorders are up on a number of sites... excited for the most part about the pricing, some of the folders I thought would have a premium price tag do not relative to some recent releases (new Chaparral, meerkat sprint, caly3 for example).

I am bummed about the maxamet pricing (~$150 for the lightweights, though I get it based on machining costs) and the cost of a Q Ball ($160) - if I want to spend those prices I'll probably pick up the N5 in G10 / S110V, or two wharncliffe delicas

I am shocked that the Sustain is $179 at KC.
