2017 Spyderco Product Guide is now LIVE!

Polestar is a good looking budget knife, may give the Tenacious a run for the money.

I was floored when I saw the pricing on some models, especially the ATR and Chinook 4.

Keep in mind, however, that the successful models like the PM have to help pay for the retarded ones they put into production like the Introvert...

I wouldn't use those exact words but yeah, I can't really argue with that.

Anyone know if it will be possible to put another blade with different steel in the lefty pm2?

The Japanese made Spydercos are generally overpriced specially the G-10 models. I wish they had made all four of the following at the U.S. plant and the price would've been 25% less.

  1. A.T.R.2 CPM-S30V Black G-10 (Japan)
  2. Chinook4 CPM-S30V Black G-10 (Japan)
  3. D’Allara3 CPM-S30V Black G-10 (Japan)
  4. Opus CPM-S30V Black G-10 (Japan)

Anything's possible but if you're wondering if you can take a blade from a right-handed PM2 and put it in a left-handed PM2 the answer would be no.

As a Karambit lover, I am SO glad to see the Karahawk in black for those who may not want a shiny metal ring sticking well out of the pocket. I don't think I'll be able to resist that one.

I'm also interested in the throwing knifes. It's a hobby I had some years back and I have a nephew who's taken interest and I've been teaching him a bit. I prefer to throw straight rather than spinning and these look like they'll have perfect balance.

Quite a few others that have already been mentioned as well that I'm looking forward to

Now we need the Karahawk trainer!

I already have the Zoome Endura which I love but I'd also be interested in these: EuroEdge, Chinook 4, ATR, Junction, Jumpster, and Sustain. One thing I don't like is all the s30v knives priced at or around the $200 mark. Don't get me wrong, s30v is fine but at $200 I want something a little nicer or different. I know nothing about Maxamet but those options are nice to see.

Not to be crude, but why did they name a knife "Polestar"?

Am I the only one who thinks they will have to buy one with a stack of one dollar bills?
