It says up top that the poll ends at 10:04 am on May 23. That is tomorrow morning, but not sure which time zone.

I think the knife we have designed is crying out for a Rams Horn or Elk handle. If you voted for anything else, especially the categories that are way behind, please reconsider! Goodness knows we do not need another poll! I just want one of them to get to 50% plus one!

Unless you prefer wood, you also need to consider the next poll against wood. I just do not see Elk out polling wood. To me, only Ram’s Horn would have a chance. That’s the main reason I am voting for Ram’s Horn. If the selection ended with this poll, I would not care that much. But we need to think strategically.

I am not concerned with the stability of the Ram’s Horn. Buck uses it a lot. They obviously prepare it well and offer the forever warranty.

The knife I just posted is a French Laguiole with Ram's Horn scales. Living in Scandinavia, it's a VERY dry hot environment in the long winter months with less 15% humidity. This knife has not shrunk or warped in the 7 years I've had it. Unlike Bovine horn or indeed Stag which really dislikes the dry. So i reckon it's durable and it's used by makers in Italy, Sardinia,Corsica,France for over a century.

i might change my mind though....hahaha. I mean it would be my first knife in rams horn....
