Is there any concern to having the link open to the public? Granted it will be buried and up only a short time, but there's a risk of flippers ordering up the supply. (The plus side of this is that a broader audience may allow us to make the minimum order number.) Hmmm....
It is my understanding that the minimum order number is not the maximum order number, as well.
The question of "what if more than (the minimum order number) want it" was brought up in one of the earlier threads.
Stephen said Buck would build as many knives as needed, at the same cost, if the order exceeded the minimum order number.

The special order page on SK Blades website will tell Stephen how many knives he'll need to order.
The "flippers" (if any) won't dry up the supply. In fact, they would add to the supply.

Not perfect here not even close actually
Buck : yes
2 blade : nope
Both long pull : nope
CPM154 : nope
Elk : nope
Nickel/Silver bolster : yes

Most choices were my 2nd tho.
Went 3 blade, long on just the clip, 20CV, and Ram horn

Just curious, who of us so far is batting 1000% with getting their main vote chosen in each poll? I'm sure nearly everyone has had to give in on at least 1 feature. But there may be a unicorn member out there that is getting their dream knife!

Well.... I guess someone needs to stick a unicorn horn on my forehead. :D (Although maybe that just jinxed it, and my first choice will lose out in all subsequent polls).

Man, I'm getting excited to see this knife completed!

As long as you wanted full flat grinds we wanted the exact same knife. If that knife were offered as an SFO in the near future I would jump on at least 1.
Just sayin.

Buck yes
501 no
Two springs yes
Three blades no (I know crinking wasn't an option, but that's what I wanted)
Opposite ends yes
Better steel yes
FFG yes
Long pull/nick no
Wood covers no
Overall I'm pretty happy and hoping for smooth polished elk ...

If the elk is rough and knobby, I wouldn't want a shield on it. Lines bolsters always looks good to my eye.

Me. I am batting 1000. Much like the 2015 round, every single vote has gone my way so far.

Technically, I had been confused between an example picture of elk/stag, so I was actually dreaming of stag, but lobbying for elk. Considering that we might yet get the dark knobbly stag, I am actually set to get something I want even more than the stage picture I fell in love with.

But in essence, my top choice has won every vote so far. I am very happy about the knife. Sorry to those who aren't getting their wishes.

Edited to add: Oops, I forgot, I am not batting 1000. I wanted Long-Pull/Nick. So this knife isn't EXACTLY what I wanted. But that seems a pretty minor thing to me.

At this point I can live with nice knobby elk or if smooth I will modify it to add dark crack lines because that looks cool. But a shield is just ugh.

That's awesome. I'm sure everyone will be happy with the end product (or else they wouldn't order one). But it's cool that all your votes have come out on top.

I wanted a 3 blade, and rams horn, but this voting process is still really entertaining to me.

Oh yes and FFG. Heyyy excellent taste you have my good man ;). I’d pay a very pretty penny for one it would be an exquisite knife.

I am not batting 1000, but close to it! A lot of the choices had at least two options that were good for me. The vote I am really looking for is the pins or no pins. I don’t understand how so many people complain about non-pinned (glued in) shields and then want glued on covers without pins:confused:

Well, I wanted a 501 so I'm behind from the get-go. On blades, I got what I wanted. Bolsters too. I think I can live with elk even though it is not my first choice. At least it's not burlap.

Overall, no serious complaints and I like to think that is true for most of us. However, poll choices from this point forward seem to be for more visual items on the knife than anything else. Maybe you could argue that scale texturing is more of an ergo thing. I don't know. Anyhow, I can imagine many people backing out based upon the voting from this point forward.

@Sabercat
Only two things will stop me from getting this knife. They are, in order:

1) I die.

2) The potential options (for example: lined and/or pinched bolsters) that if approved by the majority raises the price beyond my reach.

I am surprised 20CV steel didnt get the nod. Its basically M390 that everyone loves so much. I have it on 2 knives and it has been excellent. 154cm isnt bad though

20CV could not take the tang stamp.
I expect the tang stamp vs Lazer etching poll to be almost unanimous for the tang stamp.
("Nothing should be unanimous" so the etching will receive one or two token votes.)

It can be stamped and 20CV can't. Gotta use up those dots ... I'd have loved 20CV, but I'm thrilled it's not 420HC ...

I think I'm batting about .900 or so.

Only thing I didn't get was the blade steel. I voted for 20cv.
