Oh man my heart jumps around reading this, it sinks as I see all the people greeting and meeting etc - yet it jumps when I see their buys like Rons Stunning Stag and Augies Barlow binge lol ( Oh my friend!!!!:eek:)
Gentleman I miss you- meeting you guys AND your lovely Wives was just great - Rob, Augie please say hi to Pam and Donna from the guy in NZ.

Keep those pics coming everyone :)

Me neither. There is always another one. I would likely not want to wait more than an hour at GEC's door. Just not the kind of thing I do, ever. But for those that are willing, go for it!

It’s part of the experience, normally I would not either but at the Rendezvous it’s what you do and it becomes a lot of fun.
As I’ve stated in previous years it’s not the knives it’s the people that you meet and talk to.

Unfortunately I didn’t get there today. Started the trip off on time and got nearly 40 minutes from home before I realized the camp keys were on my trucks key fob and I’d be locked out.

20 minutes from home and the rain got so bad we couldn’t see the wiper blades running. Chilled out until it calmed down and are now headed for camp. See you guys tomorrow. I’ve decided all the good knives have now been bought, sold and traded and I’ll just have to oogle everyone else’s.

Great pictures everyone!

I had spoken to Christine last year when I was going to try to go and she made it sound like in the store they hold back knives so that they would have some good ones for each day of the rendezvous. So while the good ones may have all been traded I think there will still be some good ones to buy. I still haven’t made it to one and won’t this year so I may be wrong. If you get a rendezvous whaler and want to get rid of it let me know. Just kidding. Nah, totally serious.

There are a few dubious characters who show up at the Rendezvous and just seem to sit around all day.

And there's always someone around to tell you where to go .

But I was able to pick up some pretty nice knives as well as the 26 in Stag that I got yesterday .
A Queen made Robeson Barlow that I have searched for a deal for 4 years was provided by Augie Augie . Thank you very much John.

An Emerald Green Smooth Bone that I call a Pickle . 1 of only 12 made

A 78 in Turtle Shell Acrylic serial # 70 of 98 made

A #331313 Blood Red Bone was sold to me by Will

The # 26 Stag that I got yesterday .

Had another very nice day talking with various people and buying knives all day and then a nice dinner and conversation at Cross Creek Resort . Very nice day .
The dubious characters pictured above are Old Engineer & Half/Stop Half/Stop .

Perfect selection of knives. You will have to show me the Robeson and the 33 tomorrow at the picnic.

Well, I guess I'll be back up in the morning with both boys. I thought for sure Emmet had his fill on Thursday, but he really wants to come back up to see more knives. And since we won't/can't be there as long, my restless and energetic Sam will also be with me.

I'm loving all of the photos so far. I didn't get anything different than what's already been shown (rendezvous whaler & green 35), but I'll have to take some photos tomorrow to share here.
