Here are three to nominate from Coop's thread.

1) Stephen Fowler, JS, an elegant recurve with a terrific color palette, starting with the WOW ivory.

2) Kevin Casey with inlays by Konstantin Pushkarev, the famous feather Damascus brought to a new level with the inlays.

3) Paul DiStefano, everything here just works, with the flowing handle and guard through the long straight blade.

my favourite thread of the year!
Roger, sorry man, I'm completely slammed with trail building this winter and have no extra time to help you out, my friend. But I will take the occasional few moments to check out another year's worth of incredible bowies :)

Man there are some incredible technical accomplishments here, which deserve the highest praise and recognition, but then some of the "simpler" knives really call to me and deserve recognition as well . . . this is tough!

Thanks gents! A reminder please to number the knives in your post if you are showing more than one. REALLY helps when it comes to the task of tallying votes.

1. Mike and Garrett Elting - love the visual drama in this piece.

2. Steve Filicietti - combines epic damascus and my new fave, colour case hardened fittings.

3. John Cohea - timeless designs from a vanished time.

4. Mike Quesenberry - crisp, clean and compelling.

Great job guys - keep 'em coming - I expect nomination will wrap up some time today, so don't sit on those entries!

Just love how this ironwood and Damascus comes together. Blade by Morgan Koens (koenscraft knives).

1: Jarod Todd, Double Agent. Knife makers can imagine the work that went into this. Only grinding on the blade was for the bevel, everything else was hammered in. Damascus guard, cast iron keyway (idk what to call that part) and an antler keyhole handle. 10" blade

Great stuff! SharpByCoop SharpByCoop if you wanted to add in some pieces, today would be the day! Tomorrow morning I will close entries and we will start selecting the finalists. As always, that will be tough!

RogerP RogerP . Will do. I need to spend time noting what's been posted so I don't duplicate.

I'll do that later. TY.
