Which manufacturer would you prefer make the 2019 Forum Knife?

I would endorse a glitter gold bareheaded punchnut. That would be a handy little knife, and unique/special too. I would enthusiastically endorse it if we could have it in stainless so I could actually carry and use it.

You should have a glance at last years forum knife thread....one would be forgiven for believing CS Forester himself was "on board":oops: ...but no ..it was me.( Rich heroic laughter from large shirted figure standing with one boot on the bowsprit )

Anyway, looking forward to some real polls once the Movers & Shakers behind the scenes are able to offer some real meat on the table:thumbsup:

In the meantime, I want GEC to make a proper Norfolk (with long blades!) Peach Kernel Jig, 154CM all stainless liners, da bomb shield, Rat-Tails, all for under 100 USD including postage, import taxes. Anything else? Yeah, I want it next week :D:D

A bareheaded Pemberton (small coke bottle) with clip and punch would be sweet, wouldn't it? If they won't do glitter gold, I suppose I could swallow my disappointment and go for ebony.

Seriously, my point was that if GEC is the manufacturer that has made most of the forum knives, isn't that because they have been selected by the majority of members the most often? There will only be a limited number of manufacturers willing and able to fulfill our order, so whichever one gets the most votes is the one that best represents the wishes of the forum. (within the limited, feasible choices)

Many care. It's a forum knife. It's not about you. It's about the forum.

Its the whole vibe of the thing that makes it appealing..
Its been an annual highlight for me for the last 9 years.
Theres the discussion ,theres the polling,theres the options to choose with added mystery of diplomacy,theres the completely irrelevant Frankenstein analogy,
Not to mention the dodgy seafaring account .Something for everyone and every forum knife I have has an appeal to me even if its not the exact one I voted for.
One thing is certain.
We can make it happen.
 
So in my hunt for a good whittler I was wondering if/what model Buck made in a whittler pattern and so I found their 310 so if @skblades does it again this year besides a fixed blade I could definitely have some interest in a 310 whittler pattern.
