Color me enlightened.Bill says they will stain-less if you keep them oiledYou are welcome.
Eat something else.Problem is, they taste more or less horrible![]()
We need iron in our diet anyway.According to Leslie’s update in the 2018 forum knife thread, when he talked to Bill Howard last year, Bill said if we get on the schedule early they could do a new or unique pattern for us and that stainless “is a possibility”. I’d link to it, but I’m not that forum savy.
Having said that, I still prefer carbon. I don’t detect the off taste from carbon that some of you talk about, nor does anyone in my family.

I love the entertainment around here!Excerpt from letter from ships journalist and flogger to Lord of the Admiralty:
Dear your Lordship
Life aboard the good ship Forumblade19 is becoming intolerable.
Mutinous rumblings are openly heard on deck. The sails flap uselessly in the breeze.
Navigation is non existent as the rabble of a crew bicker amongst themselves.
We have no Captain and some of the passengers have suggested sailing up the River Don in search of buried treasure!!
These are desperate times my lord.
I beseech you send us our orders and a worthy sea Captain before we run aground in Disappointment Bay.
Yours faithfully
Jon "Scuttler" Meakin.

Nice account of life at sea, fist mate Meako
I advise a rationing of supplies. Keep the grog well hidden as you endure the journey.
Be ever watchful of pirates and continue to use "beseech" whenever possible in your transmissions. I so enjoy the Queen's English. It signifies a man of good character !
