knifeswapper for the handle material poll would it make sense to do like last year and do a 2-stage poll? First with all possible options, then second to choose among the three highest-rated from the first? If it's a one- step poll then a tiny plurality could end up choosing the scales and the majority would feel sad.

Oh wait never mind I think I get it now, phase 3 chose bone vs wood vs micarta vs acrylic, then phase 4 specific type of winner of phase 3?
