I've had a few requests for some of the others so I figured I'd just show them all for completeness. I think the right shields for this pattern are the shields available in the poll. Having said that, the badge, crest and star shields work too IMO.

It might look better. It would give the anchor more a feel of weight and it would situate in in more of an expanse. But I am also not sure if the lower anchor is just an Otter Messer think, or if it is broadly traditional. I love the Otter Messer Anchor knife, but I don't need to duplicate it exactly.
 
I haven't been in this thread lately. Is the Orlean's shield vote for reversed or regular? I voted for diamond because I think it suits the knife design. Looks like I need to consider something else.
 
This is going to be a killer knife! Hope I get one. Any of the top 3 shields are ok in my book!
