Consider the shape of the knife: Swell End, Barehead (fortunately) Some Jigged Bone will suit better than others......
You've ruled out Smooth Bone - the Barehead's Beau
- very myopic. One type of jigging that would look notable on this pattern would be a type of Winterbottom. GEC did a 48 in green Tractor bone that was like it and a rare 15 stainless in it, the colours would be different but I feel it would work very well. Other types, not so much, 'tread' carefully
And must all jigged knives be brown or orangeish??
This one should be different.
So to Wood. Undeniably, it's at home on a Barehead, hosts a shield well or lives nicely without it . Woods with grain or lustre add a lot, but some can look bleak and dull, then there's Driftwood...
