Attention 2019 Forum knife question thread.

Many heartfelt thanks to Mike and those that make the annual BF knives happen. All too easy for us to take for granted, but we’d be sad indeed if we lost such a great tradition. Even with all the wailing and gnashing of teeth, it brings us together, like a family at Thanksgiving...maybe I should stop while I’m ahead.

If 50 haven't paid up that's a lot, can't be an outbreak of Ebola or Bubonic Plague has carried off a load of people..... It's more than poor form, they could have backed out months earlier and said so-probably low attention span types or wanting to be on the initial bandwagon Anyway, I'm sure the slack will be taken up by those who really want one or those who've pledged a second, still a major inconvenience and worry for those running this I didn't order one as the pattern wasn't my thing, but if 49 knives are sold I'll pay for the 50th-overseas shipping and 25% import-tax too.

I think the non payers should be Blacklisted from any future Forum Knife, IF there is one...or somehow exposed, not sure I'd want to do any Exchange deals with that type of person.

There are certain periods of high activity on the Traditional Forum. If you just visit occasionally, it's easy to miss something like the pre-order for the forum knife. That goes especially if the thread you officially make the order is off the first page, many will miss it. I seldom look at any thread that doesn't show up on my computer on the first page. Sticky's help and the pre-order was a sticky.

Just chiming in to say I too will take another forum knife if/when the time comes & there's still leftovers/unclaimed knives.

I feel while it may be a bit more arduous for the mods,if they can please put anyone who wasn't able to purchase one ahead of me on the list.
Also while some people may have their notification lost in spam, I still feel if they logged onto the forum regularly they should know to order their knives. I mean it isnt hard not to notice the bright red banner in the sticky,and on the title to this thread. I know after the knives come in some of them will come out just to complain someone else ended up with their knives. I urge the mods, and Mike, and everyone who us involved in bringing us this years knife not to become discouraged. A great deal of us DEEPLY appreciate your hard work.

Thanks for the heads up, Rick. I use gmail myself. I kicked Microsoft to the curb years ago.

Good information. Also, I will warn everyone that gmail and yahoo are the worlds worst about putting any email into spam that contains a link. It is easy enough to remedy, but 95% of my complaints about no email end up being one of these two - and I can always show the recipient a successful server delivery notification.
