Attention 2019 Forum knife question thread.

Not making any excuses for those who are MIA but I do remember that a fair number of participants in the initial polls/conversations are not regulars in this corner of the forums. That doesn't explain the lack of response to PMs but if they don't tune in here much at all, they are certainly apt to miss what's going on here.

Another point too: I hadn't seen anything posted by a regular so I checked his profile a little while ago and he was last seen here several months ago and I know he was active in the forum knife conversations. Entirely possible that some folks just simply walked away from the forums for a spell. Hopefully it isn't anything more dire...

I had been off awhile due to work, moving, etc, (and often go awol for months at a time anyhow), but I still got the notification in my regular email that I received a message in my inbox here that the knife was ready to buy.

I'm not sure if you have to be a paying member for that to be the case, but if so then maybe that's one requirement next time around (which would also have to be paid at least up until the notifications would be expected)?

All the links were sent out by knarfeng knarfeng . As a supermod he can send messages to all members, not just paying members. I was off the grid when it was time to notify folks.

You're numero uno (first) on the list. Unless there's a change of Biblical magnitude you will get a purchase link. Your membership status is not a factor.
We do need quick payment.

Based on the response times in the Exchange, I am inclined to believe it is true. Guys must be on a hair trigger waiting for those 77's and 15's to peek out of their tubes.

On topic, my email notifications are working, however I'm way down the list since I am already in for 1. But I'm willing and ready!

I JUST HOPE EVERY BODY THAT WAS NOT ON THE original LIST CAN GET ONE FIRST. THIS SINGLE BLADE KNIFE IN SO PERFECT FOR ME. I BOUGHT A BUNCH OF #97s AND #93s this year. I was so disappointed that the #92 was not offered in single blade. But I like the #92s so much , I ended with five. I am crazy about the Forum African blackwood single blade #86 single blade. I passed because I thought that I was not eligible to buy one. What a dummy I was. All of the #86 knives will be awesome !(MY PURCHASE IS COMPLETE !)

Folks, the secondary links have all been sent via PM.

Gary combed this thread today and I combed it tonight. We think that everyone who missed being on the original list has been sent a link. There were about 5 knives that were still unclaimed and we sent offers out to some members who had volunteered in this thread to buy them.

We thank everyone who has helped us out of this corner we found ourselves in.
