Do we know what the tang number is for this? 86X119 Will they use 'S' since it's a sailors?
There is no existing number for saber sheepsfoot that I know of, is this the first? (Sorry if this has been discussed already, I have read most of this thread and don't re-call this discussion).

I feel bad that all this work lands on Mike's lap right at Christmas time. The busiest time of the year gets busier. But I know there was no way of predicting when these knives would be ready way back during the initial offer in the Spring.

The buttons/labels have it listed as # 863119

I’ve seen a lot of the older ones that have Sabre ground blades end in SAB in the production totals and tube labels, I don’t think they’ll do it in this but if they did it would be 863119SAB.

I agree... and, speaking for myself, it wouldn't hurt my feelings at all if he waited 'til after Christmas to start the shipping. Another week or two will make absolutely zero difference to me. It's not as if I have no other knives to use/fondle/admire until then.

Perhaps that would be a good way to say "thanks" for all the work he's done on this knife, to just say "Merry Christmas Mike, don't even think about the knife until after your holiday"
I mean, good grief, everyone should be "off" at Christmas.
I have no objections to this. Should we start a poll?

That makes a lot of sense, it covers both the sheepsfoot and the sabre grind. But as Rookie82 Rookie82 said, the pin and label seem to not have 'SAB' on there. Thanks guys, I should have looked at the picture closer.

I appreciate the thought - but to be honest I can't stand having packages needing to go out. And if I am not packing - I will have to be going to relatives houses. Don't take away the only excuse I have. First batch will hit here tomorrow; so should get a good bit out Monday.

HAHA glad we could help Mike! Hope you have a great season and can keep those pesky visits to a minimum!
