Im pretty freaking stoked on these. i got a shipping notice for my Canadian Shipment Dec 11th. post office is pretty plugged up this time of year so im not holding my breath on delivery before xmas but definitely following the tracking 3 times a day LOL.
I sure hope it makes it to you. I understand that if you clamp ViseGrip pliers on just the right spot on the blade, and flick it really hard, it will fail the "gravity knife" test. ;):D

Hmmm if I use cabanossi as dowels I can join several Spams together to create a monster Armadillo....where do I get these insane ideas? ...oh yeah...here.
These will arrive as and when they arrive and will have the the tang stamp that they have. Not sure what else there is to whinge about.
There is nothing to whinge about but whinging itself !

Now the question is which forumite will post the first pictures, will it be one of our Canadian friends, maybe a New Zealander, or English? Canada has the "not crossing the ocean" thing going for it,but maybe gets stuck in customs longer. Then the question arises "how easy is it for them to obtain SPAM?" Lol Of all things to get connected to who would've thought spam. I have a can waiting for the thinnest slice challenge :D:thumbsup:

Looks like this years build is going to be a winner!
Plenty of Spam at our local Costco!

I'm not whinging whatsoever about how long it takes to get my knife, but I know the Spam-slicing contest will be well underway before we get to the 'R's. So wait for me...:D

Big question is what do you do with Spam after you slice it? That stuff's not edible is it? Maybe patch a shoe sole? Have a can patiently waiting in the pantry, I think Dad brought it home after WW2, should still be good.

I don't eat spam, but I've decided it will be the first thing my forum knife cuts. Maybe if I get the low-sodium kind it'll be okay to give to the cat.

I solemnly pledge that not one molecule of steel on my knife will ever come within a mile of any Spam (a food-like substance). I object to any linkage of this year's beautiful knife to Spam (a food-like substance). I demand that this association with Spam (a food-like substance) end forthwith!

Your pledge is worthless! My mail carrier will drive right by a grocery store - coming and going. Now I am going to buy a can just to touch each tube to before packing. Wait, maybe I can save myself a trip to town - would Vienna Sausages count?

Please don't threaten me sir! I really like this knife and wouldn't want to put it up for sale due to spam (a food-like substance) contamination. Vienna sausage might not be AS bad. Back in my Boy Scout days I did survive a Vienna sausage encounter, but that was many years ago and I don't know if my aging digestive system would appreciate it.
