It’s on the label that makes up the background in the GEC picture a page or two backRight? Fellow Canuck here, I figured that we'd be last on the list ... againI basically had gave up hope of getting it before Christmas. Shipping from individuals can take upwards for three weeks(stupid border). But I've been getting packages from KSF and DLT in around one week. Hopefully we are looking at that kind of time frame. Regardless, I'm getting one without having to fight in a 'drop', so I'm a happy camper
I missed where this was referred to as a sailors knife? If that official or something you guys have deemed it?
I went jigged bone too. But im very happy with how it turned out. I voted different on the shield too but all my other voted went through. Wish I had gotten 2!I was in the jigged bone camp.. actually happy we lost that poll. The final product looks great!
Good point. Not that it matters a whole lot but in the interest of pocket knife accuracy I don't consider it a Navy, Sailors or rope knife. the blade profile is not correct for any of those. To me it's just a large sheepsfoot jack, a very nice one at that and one I'm glad I ordered 2 of.
Pics of original rope knives.
