not yet Charlie! it is still in the shadow and I will likely have to seek out a new modder to do it. The person working on my 92 split and build atm will cease doing modifications and move on to custom work soon. But the great thing is, the sheepsfoot has the tang code and is much larger than even the 92's and will make another fine little knife soon.

lol! Nahh I cleaned the oil from gec off the blades. Then applied a light coat of mineral oil after i sharpened it up.

I was talking about the smell of crude oil smell you guys talked about. It exudes manly smell, makes weak men look/smell like strong men, swoons ladies, prepares food like a viking hunter. Very manly knife.

As a woodworker, I know some woods will darken when exposed to sunlight, especially those will an "oil finish" like Danish oil, linseed oil, etc. Who knows about crude oil ??
Put it on a sunny window sill for a few days and see what happens.

Received my sucker rod 86 and it screams user. For those who have one, are you seeing a lot of scuffing on the bolsters and pommel? Mine looks like it was knocked around. Asked the distributor and was told that's just the way that finish tends to look
