Looks like my idea is not going to happen. The Tidioute Oily Creek Bone #86 is getting a wrench shield. I can dig that , sounds good to me. I got one on pre-order. I have a #92 camel bone on pre-order. Somebody on Blade Forum called that color "Gold or Golden Sunrise" camel bone. I told GEC Face-book messenger. I think "Gold/Golden Sunrise" is a good name choice for that #92 knife. That might interest me.
The only acrylic I've seen that I like is the tortoise shell variety.
Different strokes and all that.
Should be seeing some updates hopefully! Or is there a run of some Northwoods....![]()
Right or wrong I'm trying to wrap my head around which pattern... 77, 92, 86? The taro cards of GEC pictures posting are promising...
I see the word "brass" on the bloodwood #86 Oil Jack knives. Brass Bolsters would look kool on this knife. I have an oily creek bone #86 on pre-order. I might go on the hunt for an #86 oil sucker rod wood knife. I missed out on the bloodwood. I want to hold out for the next schedule. Hoping for some single blades. My first #92 Goldenrod Eureka Jack came in today. Mr. Frank picked me out the best one for sure !

I had assumed when I saw NS + Brass handwritten in the picture that it meant Nickel Silver bolsters plus Brass liners, which is common. I have a couple of red bone Case knives from the 70’s that have NS liners and rivets. Absolutely beautiful!
