All these pics of these blue 23s and I'm just waiting for the mail man to come and drop mine off. Sure ain't easy to be patient when you see everyone else's treasure
Oil the joint and work the blade... it should improve over time.I’m relatively new to GEC and just have a quick question guys...
I received my LL Beavertail in the mail today. All the photos I’ve seen on this thread have managed to make me pretty excited, and having it in-hand....it’s amazing! I love everything about it, but I noticed something. When I move the liner lock out of the way to close the blade, the action is SUPER gritty! It’s only between fully open and the half-stop, but it almost sounds and feels like grinding. In your experience, is this normal for a brand new blade of this type? I’m in no way complaining, just trying to understand better the product I received. It really is a beauty!
Cool pic! Makes my teeth hurtI almost didn't jump on the blue camel bone but I'm glad I did. Gary picked a cool handle material for this pattern

I use gun patches , an old broken Boker small folder , and oil to clean my new knives. I wrap a cloth around the blade and work it back & forth. Every new knife needs break in exercise. The more you play with your knife , the better it will work for you. "Heads up !" I just read on YouTube , about this subject. GEC uses a black gritty buffing compound . Your knife needs to be flush out and cleaned with oil. I do not like the water idea at all. Remember , oil and water do not mixed. GEC says ,"Flush it with oil". That is just what I do.I’m relatively new to GEC and just have a quick question guys...
