At last! And what a great looking 23.

Thought I was going to miss out on this run, but I scored a couple kinda by chance as I'm sure many of you may know. Both will see use but I think I will give the pioneer pocket time first. I'm still a babe in the woods when it comes to GEC knowledge, is the jigging on the pioneer called cougar claw? And is this GEC'S name for winterbottom style jigging? Either way I really like it;)
I have wondered that myself.... it certainly LOOKS like GEC's cougar clawed bone jigging.. which, as you mentioned, looks very much like Queen's winterbottom. I just don't know if they CALL it that on this knife.

although, I suppose we can call it whatever we wish.... they are OUR knives, after all... .:D

I managed to get 4 different ones, two 2 blade knives and two of the liner lock ones.
Plus my 2 blade 08 is above in the pic.
As usual they are all in excellent shape.

They are all great but the micarta LL one is the one that is being carried.
GEC did a nice job on the micarta.

I have decided to sell 2 of my 23's, as I've decided which ones I want to keep. I would like to give the porch members first shot at these, so if anyone of you have been wanting a jigged cherry LL, or an antique autumn natural bone LL, shoot me a PM and let me know. I'm not trying to make a profit, so these will go for approximately original price... if no active porch members are interested, I'm going to post them on the exchange and sell them to whoever.... I don't know any other way to do this that won't attract the flippers immediately...
