2020 GEC #33 Conductor Thread

I didn't bother to measure it but I notice the other day that the GEC 33 is almost exactly the same size as a Buck 303, obviously the buck being 3 springed, the blade and length is just a tiny bit different.

The Conductor is about 1/4" shorter than my Case Small Texas Jack - one of my favorites. The main blades are pretty close to equal in length. I'm liking this 3-3/8" single spring 2 blade idea.:cool:

I definitely agree with that, although then it would run really similar to the 35 Churchill, although in a much more interesting pattern, rather than just a cigar pattern.

Got mine today, I was on the fence because I’m not a big clip fan...I don’t know. Fit finish are fine but the stag is a little odd, both sides have areas where the dark areas look like they just rubbed off if that makes sense? Not much contour I’m wondering if I could lightly sand it down to a consistent translucent color without wrecking it.

These were a "filler run", it's been said. Perhaps to make use of a small margin of inventory while they regroup after the shutdown? Brilliant pattern choice, I think! I only wish there was enough material for one more cover option. Bloodwood? Ebony? Cocobolo? Love the ones I've been lucky to get.

I think black horn, wood or micarta with a smooth surface would have been nice.

I really love this knife. The smallest GEC in my collection. Any small pocket slips that work well with the 33? Thanks in advance.

The ones at Collector Knives look really good. if someone has any, would love a review. Look on their website and see what you think. Have a good one.:)

Here are three slips that are appropriately sized for the 33. The small sized slips from Knives ship free, GEC, and Collector Knives. The CK fits best the knife best and is the highest quality in my opinion.
