2020 GEC #33 Conductor Thread

Photo shows a catch bit. Do these blades look like they're maybe ground to fit w/o krinking? Grind looks a bit stepped away from the tang to me. Hard to tell for sure though.

Well, yes the shield is good :D

400 of these is a big dollop, but are we sure there'll be 400 in Stag too? that's a massive antler run and unparalleled I suspect?

Yeah, I feel the same way. I was going to grab a 62 in the red jiged bone but wanted to wait to see what these 33's looked like.
Now, though I think I'm just going to tone down my knife buying for a bit.
But if I end up with a 6 pack in and browsing the knife dealers it will be a 62 in red for me, not the 33. (I only have the PC in cocobolo)

Surely you don't need a 6 pack to sway your resolve if you see this?:)

Mind you, a drink adds to the thrill:D:cool:

I'm going to have to watch the dealers' drops, and the exchange, I imagine. I would really like to have a jigged bone version.... and it wouldn't break my heart to find a stag one, as well. Fingers crossed....

I’m really hoping these are built as well as the last run of 62’s. And if the catch bit helps prevent blade run then that’s good too. My 62 in camel bone is perfect! And I love the square shield. So now I need a jigged bone 33.

I have no idea how the production lines work, does anyone know if they are cranking out the 33 stags and 35s at the same time or is it sequential?

I like the looks of the 33, but it is a little small for my tastes. But it is a perfect little gents folder. I hope the folks here who want one are able to score one.
