LOL Yes but be at ease as you stated it’s just resting on the countertopGreat pic! ... but the point resting on the stone countertop gives me the chills.
I’ve purchased four 62s and they are the four sharpest GEC factory edges I’ve ever received.LOL Yes but be at ease as you stated it’s just resting on the countertop
If I may add this is one of my sharpest out of the tube out of the bunch although all I have from this 62 run have been sharp. This one though is Hair popping sharp and cuts threw a envelope effortlessly. No need to pull out the traditional leather strip Block like some fresh out of the tube![]()

I love them all but I think this Goldenrod is my fav all around and I never thought that would be the case when I ordered it. But with all fairness my Desert Ironwood, Blue camel bone and Snakewood are safe queens with the exception of the Maroon Micarta.
Anyway I’m really enjoying this Goldenrod camel bone. Here’s some natural lighting shots.

Couldn’t agree more !Mine too. Before it was the red jigged bone, which is still close, but that camel bone is unbelievable. Love the texture and color.
I want that curly maple gec! Who had that? And here is the current stable of pattern 62. I won't be holding on to all of them, but it's been fun to get my hands on these. Can't wait for the carvers.

What’s funny is my first was the Maroon Micarta testing the waters not knowing if I would like this pattern once in hand.
This pictures says it all

Thank you so much !Those are all phenomenal!
Thank you so much !
I’m extremely happy with Each and every one![]()
Thanks Brother !You definitely got one of the best Blue Camel Bones and Goldenrod Camel Bones that I've seen. The Snakewoods and Ironwoods have all been great. I got a really nice Unicorn and a Red Jigged Bone but sat the rest out. Kicking myself now, but I guess that's part of the game. At any rate, Well Done and Enjoy!
That was from 2013. I got it used here a couple years ago, and has been one of my favorites. It got me amped up for this run. The wood on it is gorgeous, and I like the pinched bolsters, but the smaller bolsters on the current run seem to fit the pattern better.I want that curly maple gec! Who had that?
