2020 GEC #62 Easy Pocket Congress and Pocket Carver Thread

When do you guess we should start seeing some stag photos?
Here's my family shot...regret now sending my tomato acrylic down the road. The raisin jigged bone version is still the best. I should my my banana bone tomorrow, hoping to get a stag and white bone carver.

Some approximate production totals for the Pocket Carver:
600 each of the cocobolo and smooth bone
300 each in the F&F trim
that makes me feel a little better about my odds of being able to get one of the white bone Tidioutes... I have a couple of F&F's on reserve, but didn't realize I'd like the looks of the white bone as much as I do...

Possibly the best built GEC I’ve come across, everything about this knife is exactly what I want. Medium-firm pulls, great W&T, centered blade tips. The covers are flush at the bolsters, edges decently sharp, too shiny for pics in the Florida sun! Flawless production level package here, those guys in Pennsylvania seem to be getting even better.

Edit: oiled the joints, stropped each blade about 100 times, opened and closed each blade about 100 times... This one’s going to be a real treat.

I think it is "ripe banana", and if you peel it, I think the cover is an amazing approximation of the skin and peeled meat of the nanner.

Nice job GEc!

It is essentially a stockman, EngrSorenson! Two springs, with a clip on one and a Sheepfoot opposite a pen on the other!
I will post a blades-open pic anon!!
