Thank you. To my eyes, it looks like the back springs themselves are tapered. Is this true?Main open 1/4

I have seen other knives with this design have tapered springs, however this one to my eye is not.

Man, that's great. All of them I've seen are just pretty darn good... a few have been exceptional. This is one of them.

Wow, nice match that’s a keeper for sure. I wish all companies and not just GEC would do a better match on all types of covers. Character is one thing but when the covers from side to side are not even close to me it’s all about money and not quality. Again, nice knife

As I mentioned previously, missed the 15 minutes of DLT availability while hiking with the dogs (actually while I was loading my pack, come to find out), and today missed TPK's 15 minutes while chatting with a guy I worked for for nearly 20 years who stopped by the shop...
