Managed to get my first Northwoods.
A fine one at that!

Sorry you missed one. I grabbed the first yellow one I saw then went back to look at the others. I imagine by then they were all in carts and weren't actually available to purchase. This will be my first non-micarta Northwoods as I'm usually too cheap to splurge on the exotic covers but you're right about the camel being relatively cheap.

:) Glad it worked out... It was one of the unique colors (green, yellow). I bought a micarta within a millisecond, and went back to look at others. In 2 milliseconds I had the yellow in my cart, but decided one is enough...but just by a hair... funny thing is it took my awhile to get it out of my cart and back to the other listings.

I was looking around for a stragler listing.. anybody see anything like that?

Does anyone know what was the total amount of knives that were offered this drop? Its not like anyone had a chance to look at all of these if like myself they were frantically trying to grab one. Just curious.

I have no clue at all. I will take a shot in the dark, random guess of around 100 each of all but the mammoth.

single blade on the 35 frame sure does look sweet, wish I had one or even a 2 blade churchill will do :D these drops are so stressful as you get up there in age, I love this hobby but wow it's crazy, congrats to all, can't wait to see the mail call pics

Already flipping at $449 you know where...

Considering so many of these had one of a kind covers, it shouldn't be too hard for the dealer to figure out who the scumbag scalpers are and blacklist them (if they so choose to do so).

It's pretty messed up that they are trying to sell the knife before it's even in their possession (which I believe is against the terms of service for the auction site). What happens if it gets lost in the mail on the way from KSF... What happens if the knife has some scuffs that were missed in the picture?

Just scummy all around.
