Thanks John, Dad enjoyed the e/o notch on that knife. I was able to swap him a bone micarta 77 to get it back (the 77 went to my nephew)Really nice closely-matched pair.![]()
Extra bloody looks really cool. I'm sad I whiffed on those. This one came in yesterday. My dead skunk is extra bloody.Personally, I like the amount of red in it, and the pile side (which I forgot to photograph) is well matched.

The pull on the caplifter is maybe a bit stronger than a Beer Scout, but not at all difficult to open. F&F is great, and both blades are nice and snappy.

I haven’t had a chance to lift any caps yet, but I feel like a bottle of Mexican Coke is a fitting choice for this knife.
They look so 3D in pictures. I've never seen one in hand. Are they that 3D looking in person? This one came in yesterday. My dead skunk is extra bloody.Personally, I like the amount of red in it, and the pile side (which I forgot to photograph) is well matched.

My only complaint is the visible seam lines present on almost every DS acrylic I’ve seen posted. I’m a big fan of this acrylic and have never seen this before and find it a bit disappointing.

Have the red bone 85’s already hit stores? Do I have any chance to casually stumble across one this week?
My cherry bone 85 is currently sitting in my mailbox. Should be able to post a pic later. I hope my wife forgets to check the mail today...
Here she is! I will try to get some better pics in the light tomorrow. First observations is this is a very well made knife. The action is fantastic. Backsprings are flush in all positions except the main blade when in half stop, but that doesn't bother me. Very pleased with this knife. The fat spear is really nice.![]()
