2021 knives now available to order directly from Buck

I'm having a lot of problems getting pics to post. I have to size them down to about 700x400 and then they don't look too good when they post.
Might be my Basic Membership. I'm going to upgrade to Gold Member and see if that works better.
If it's something else I sure hope they get it fixed soon.

I've noticed some of Jb's pics seem to have some decent details, and was wondering how he was doing it.

I'll check it out.....
Computers software is not part of my lexicon, so this will be interesting.

Are you using an Android phone? If so, and you are able to download the Snapseed app, I can put together a tutorial with some screenshots for you later today.
 
I found some free no ad app.
I guess you get what you pay for.
Why doesn't phone just come programed capable of doing it?
It's not like people don't take / post pics?

And the educated programmers that look down on folks like me ( ever been to an Apple store?, Yeah, NEVER again) say "what?, It's easy, oh can you change my tire for me, I don't wanna get sweaty...."
 
I downloaded Snapseed, but didn't see a compress option, so I deleted it

It's in the Settings option for me. You can play with sizing, format and quality before you Export the pic. If you still want to try it I can send you a PM later with more detail.

what app...your pic looks better than mine..maybe I need a better compression app....couldn't possibly be me or my camera skills.🤣🤣

pretty sure it won't matter. 1mb is the limit regardless of membership level. cropping is helping ya get to file size requirements. it isnt the membership. I have platinum and it didn't help me post pics. has to do with file sizing.
 
I found a way to cheat on photos by accident. If i took a pic of a Buck and tried it would say error. I would take the same pic but from a little farther a way then go to edit and crop it to the knife or whatever i was wanting to send and it works every time. True sometimes if someone seeing it wants to zoom it can be a tad grainy but it’s free with no app.
 
I just use Imgur to host my photos and post the links here. If the picture isn’t crazy large, they use lossless compression and it has the added benefit of giving me easy access to my entire collection of photos, which is great when I’m looking for a photo I posted months/years ago. 🤷‍♂️
 
I use Imgur as well...works great.

I just hope Imgur doesn't go away someday and then all of the photo links on BF will be broken.
 
I picked up a couple more of the 2021 Legacy collection recently. I like the brushed-finish on the brass guard on the Kalinga (not mentioned on the website).
